Hello All,
I was having a problem in Compiz where I couldn't drag windows above the top of the desktop. i.e. the top of the monitor acted like a "wall" and I couldn't drag a window so the top half was off the screen. I searched around on Google and saw posts where other people had the same problem, but they were all exclusive mailing lists or otherwise closed topics, so I am posting my solution here to better the Ubuntu community :0
Open a terminal
type ccsm
Scroll ALL THE WAY to the bottom to the plugin "Move Window" and click it
Uncheck "Constain Y"
Presto!
