Hey guys, I just downloaded BackTrack 3 today to mess around with it. Anyways, I ran LANguard and it seems to have found some type of "backdoor" called Kuang? With it's own port on one of my home file servers (ubuntu server 8.10 I believe). My question is how to I go about fixing this? Do I just block the port? somehow uninstall the program? I don't even know where to start. I'm having a hard time even figuring out what exactly it is...

Thanks guys.

I rescanned and the backdoor Kuang port was gone, but there was a new one that said Napster?? so I rescanned again and it's back to the normal three smb, netbios, and microsoft-ds. What does that mean? faulty program? Or is there a problem with my server?
