Hi, I'm having some trouble installing Ubuntu 8.10 32-bit on a Dell T3400. It hangs when booting of the cd or USB drive. I've tried re-downloading it from a different source and then trying to install via cd and usb both with no luck. It will freeze when I see a cursor and a blank desktop, or sometimes on the main menu after I select install or view and change. I checked it for defects and it passed. Any ideas? Is there a boot option I need to add or a bios setting that needs to be change? Thanks.
