Not really. The backyard at least had intellectual debates about real world issues although some people could not handle this in a mature way. Not htat the general attitude in the cafe is mature.

The Cafe has gone to hell in a handbasket. Mindless, senseless drivel is all what the cafe is about these days. Oh, and lets not forget all the stupid polls every few seconds. And then there is the 'hate'.

The sense of community seems lost to me, very sad state of affairs indeed.

Nope. Never have been drunk either. I only buy good beer-and when I have any in my fridge, I enjoy it nice and slowly....never got into the whole stereotypical American drinking to get get drunk lifestyle.

I don't usually drink to get drunk, but I might have a few shots tonight of buttershots or irish cream for the heck of it.
