View Full Version : [ubuntu] Raise priority of application (XBindKeys) above Apps menu

I am running XBindKeys, which allows me to setup my own keyboard shortcuts.

PROBLEM: XBindKeys behaves as expected except when I select the 'Applications' or 'System' menu and the drop-down list is shown. Then my XBindKeys keyboard shortcuts don't work.

How can I make it work even when a menu is selected? Is XBindKeys being blocked/overridden somehow?

I think it's running as a high priority process so I'm assuming a change there won't make any difference.
