Hi

I have got a Linux partition of 8 GB which turns out to be too small. Hence, I wanna combine it with 4 GB of unallocated disc space. I tried to use the Ubuntu LiveCD 8.04 but unfortuantely I am note able to extend the primary partition to the unallocated space as there seems to be the SWAP partition in between. I tried to unmount the SWAP partition by setting Partition->Swapoff but it seems in some way that the SWAP partition still remains there and I cant add the unallocated space to my first partition...

Does anyone know a workaround for this really simple problem?

Many thanks!
