Hello all!
I am a person who would like to switch to ubuntu from XP. But the problem is I cant run Ubuntu or any other linux such as OpenSolaris. When I try to run the ubuntu 8.04 live CD, either to try ubuntu or install it, my systems just acts as if it's dead after the progress bar turns to 100%. I have a HCL Leaptop B28 C2D and got a Phoenix BIOS R1.24. The only way to install 8.04 is to install it inside windows. Also, I cant install any other ubuntu versions even within windows. Please help!
