An ubuntu ad?

I'm an Ubuntu newbie, but I'm head over heels in love with it, so I wanted to do something for Ubuntu.

I'm considering creating a youtube video for Ubuntu: Two users are chatting using an instant messenger, and one of them is using *******. While chatting, the Windows user suddenly goes offline, and the writing says, "Switch to an OS that doesn't crash. Switch to Ubuntu. No freeze ups!", followed by screenshots of common Ubuntu applications. :P What do you think? Any suggestions?

Actually, I think you can mention the competitors name directly now days. (You couldn't in the past).

Lots of UK ads (especially supermarket ads) mention competitors. I think you just can't say anything libellous.

They actually use the word Vista in almost every ad. Just check the ones where they make fun of Microsoft spending more money on advertising than on fixing bugs.

Sure, I guess Ubuntu CAN crash too, but it isn't nearly as buggy as Windows, is it? I should know, I was an avid Windows loonie [notwithstanding its frequent freezeups] until I discovered Ubuntu.

In australia for tv ads, they can use competitor names, as long as they finish with a line like
"make up your own mind"
after the incredibly biased ad.
(yes, I know ads are ment to be biased)

about a program that captures your screen: check Add/remove and look for something like: grab desktop recorder... there are few programs like that but imo only one that shines (probably the one with the highest download rate).

I cinerella was cool, I have never been able to spell it correctly... and now it is called something else.... -.-
