Of course, Jobs wouldn't have named it the P series (come on, Sony, you can do better than that). But the point is, if you'd slapped an Apple logo over the Sony logo, given it a new name, and had Jobs roll it out, I'd bet it would be the top-selling notebook on the market today.

I always thought that I was only one thinking like this....guess am not alone...

I've always thought Sony would compete with Apple better if it included a slicked-out Linux distribution instead of Windows.

Doe Linux still suck on Sony, or is it running better these days?

Depends.

Vaio's are a biotch, but other hardware is sometimes okay.

£10 says it'll be a week before anyone gets Ubuntu on their Adamo with all the h/w working fine, lol.

I'll give them 2 weeks, due to the higher price-tag (compared to netbooks) and today's economy. :P
