When I use the Canadian multilingual keyboard layout, many of the modifiers don't work.

Right-ctrl doesn't work as the 5th level chooser, even though it has been assigned the role in the within the layout configuration. It is like this even when it is the only function assigned to that key.

Capslock works as the compose key, but right-ctrl, right-alt, shift right-all, less-than-greater-than don't. The menu I'm not sure about because of another bug that affects

The left-win and right-alt keys work OK as 3rd level choosers.

How do I get access to the 5th level of the layout? How do I get a key other than capslock to work as the compose key?

Many thanks

oops. para 3 should end "...that affects other layouts as well".
