Converting window based installation to fresh installation

I have installed Ubuntu via windows Xp.Now I want to convert it to as fresh installation without removing from windows add/remove program.whether it is possible or I have to install freshly from bootable CD after removing from windows OS.Please guide me. Thanks in advance

thank u mark. I have migrated the Wubinstallation to fresh installation.The only problem i am facing is the grub which is loading is flashing and the colour is very fant which is not soothing to eye. Is there any way to configure the GRUB which is starting when system starts
