My favorite thing about Ubuntu over other Linux distro's is I actually feel comfortable recommending it to people I know how don;t have have a clue what OS even means....

For me it's the end user experience, the ease of use/lack of problems.

It's Honest, and it works...

The real home-base Ubuntu people, the Linux people, are the world's real and greatest humans... Linux people are "the brotherhood of mankind", sharing life with everyone they can...

That's only one of my favorite things about Ubuntu... I don't have time to write the book...

I like Ubuntu because, as indicated above, it just works. It is by far the most stable "desktop" distribution I've ever used. I've never been in a situation with Ubuntu, unlike most other distros, where even upon a clean install, some apps just won't open for who-knows-what-reason. It is really the only distro I've actively recommended to people (except for recommending Debian for server usage).

I can hardly wait to see what 9.04 is going to be like.
