When I pull out the USB from the ubuntu mobo, the switch is working again.

My specs:

Kingston DDR2 HyperX PC8500 4096MB CL7,Kit 2x matched HyperX 2GB DDR2
Gigabyte GA-E7AUM-DS2H, GeForce 9400,Socket-775, DDR2, m-ATX, PCI-Ex(2.0)x16
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz, Socket LGA775, 6MB, 1333Mhz BOXED w/fan.
Samsung 400GB HDD S-ATA.
MIST500BHE12 Power Supply

KVM switch; ATEN CS-64U 4-Ports USB/D-sub.

When I connect a dedicated mouse and keyboard, all is king ;-)

I also did install an add on USB controller card, and plugged the USB connector from the kvm switch into that. This did work, but only when working in ubuntu desktop enviroment, and not at bootup/bios.:(

In windows XP this works flawles, so this will point in the direction to the ubuntu install, or??

Any fix on this, so I dont need to change the mouse keyboard when using bios/bootup stuff ;)

Thanks for any hints on this, hate to return the mobo setup due to this smal issue:-|

PS I also have a VIA Mini ITX PC with Ubuntu 8.10 on it, and this works fine with my KVM switch. Only this is an uppgrade from 8.04...
