Hey all.

I am just a user. I have no coding skills. When searching for a web based jukebox, I found Jinzora (http://en.jinzora.com/). It had everything I was looking for. It currently lacks the community required to polish such an app.

I think this fits the bill if you are looking for a web based streamer, but for me I like the jukebox mode.

Jukebox mode allows local playback. How cool would it be to have a basic machine connected to your whole house sound, than any network machine could control media playback? All this while others were streaming different content. Very cool!

If you like as much as I do, join the forum. Hopefully we can get some coders to help.

Enjoy.

Wow, I didn't think anyone else had even heard of Jinzora! Awesome!

I always wanted to start a free media-like site from it, but then I got sucked into Jamendo...

I've been meaning to try jinzora again, but every time I try, it fails at the importing music stage.

I think all I need to do is give php more max mem usage, but that's a bit annoying.

It seems the developers have little or no interest in support. This may be why others are reluctant to help.

Here is my post on the Jinzora forum. Am I way off?

EDIT: forgot the link (http://en.jinzorahelp.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6560).
