I/O error: error reading boot CD

I am running Windows Vista and made a live CD. When booting the live CD, it goes to the Ubuntu screen but when I select anything, it says "I/O error: error reading boot CD". Is this because of a bad CD? I know it's just the ISO, and every computer I've tried it on has booted the CD. The other two computers froze up when I tried to choose any of the options. What is the problem?

Are you able to boot from the CD on another machine? If so, you might want to run the "Check CD integrity" option.

Yea, yea. When I do that, that's when it gives me the error.
