Hi im trying to setup a DRBL server on 8.10 and for this i was adivsed to remove network manager. So i have no noob firendly GUI to connect to my wireless, I have been searching for a few days now and although I found some infomation it hasnt helped me get any closer, I can connect to my wifi by configering /etc/networks/interfaces but only if my security is WEP and not wpa,

After seaching around on the net Ive heard a lot about wpa_supplicant but im unsture how to confgure it and info is sketchy.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? or am i completly off track, help much apreciated as im a complete noob when it comes to LINUX,
