How to play youtube videos on Ubuntu PS3

hi all,

I am not only a noob but this is my first experience with linux distro. I have installed it on my ps3 machine and now im struggling to play vids on YouTube. Please guys help me out with a guide that takes me step by step and I would also love if you all gonna provide some other plugins that are essential to my os to make sure that almost all media are supported. Thanks.:)

Check this out. I haven't used this exact way (I'm using mplayer, not ffmpeg) but i know it works.
