I a former user of Vista who wants to enter Ubuntu world, but I am finding it quite difficult. The standard installation won't work, as it stops in a point and nothing seems to be able to keep it running. So, I downloaded the alternate CD and started installing, with apparent success. Unfortunately, after restarting the system, it stops in the same point that that when I was trying to install in graphic mode, and nothing can be done. In text mode, it says the following:

Does anyone know how to solve the problem? Any advice would be greatly apreciated.
