how do you actually submit the answer?


the hint is to change url

i changed it but i am getting a 404 error

to http://www.pythonchallenge.com/pc/def/2.html

what exactly does changing url has to do with learning python?

I dunno what it has to do with learning python...

you just calculate 2^38 and put that as the url

That exact webpage taught me that the correct Python is:

2 ** 38
not

2 ^ 38

i dont even know the question....

The second one is just a simple cipher where the letters are offset by some ammount. It's recommended to use the maketrans function in the string module, but you can also do it more manually.

In order to test your cipher algorithm without giving away the answer, could you decode this text and see what you get?: 'rfc qagclrgqrq cvykglc yl cjcarpmlga kyn rm bcrcpkglc rfc npmhcarcb qnpcyb md rfc mpeylgqk.'

I think you are changing too much...

translate this:
