What does the ubuntu DVD includes. Does it include extra softwares or is just the 3 OS namely Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu? And whats the different between the Ubuntu on Cd and on Dvd?

Additional Language Packs on the DVD. No difference in software, it's just the Language Packs.

not quite true, it contains an extended repository of packages on it. Sure, they're not installed by default but they are there and can be installed without internet access.

I believe I once used an ubuntu dvd to install a server with apache, php, mysql and some other stuff. All that came right from the disk.

While listening to the Fresh Ubuntu podcast, they were talking about having an Ubuntu-Full, where they download the entire repository, and distribute it. Do any of you have any idea of the size of it?
