First things first: I'm using an HP Compaq 6730 right now. All the fn and multimedia keys work fine except for the louder/softer ones.They are functioning but change the volume of my mic ("Aufnahme1" ,, that would be something like "Recording1" I think) instead of of the Master Sound Volume.
If I just knew where a hotkey's function is stored, this problem could be solved easily by changing the according number the ALSA driver issues to each function. Alas, I'm fairly new to Linux in general and ubuntu in particular, so this is no easy task. :D
Any ideas?
