Hi, I am a new Ubuntu user and signed on this forum. Is there anything happing locally that would be interesting.

As your location says you are in Little Rock, I'll give you what I know about the Linux User Groups in your area. We have a few LUGs around Central Arkansas. LRLUG doesn't currently meet, but they do have a mailing list. CARLUG meets once a month in Conway. HSALUG is a bit farther away but meets once a month and is currently looking preparing for this year's Linux Fest.
