Greetings,

This is what happens... I set the screen brightness slider to about 25%. When the laptop goes to sleep or comes out of the dim/energy saver setting, ubuntu resets the brightness to about 50% (running on battery alone). This happens also if my laptop is plugged in. I checked the power settings menu and didn't find any specific controls for brightness, just when stuff goes into screensaver, sleep, etc.

Is there a way to set the brightness and not have ubuntu reset it to whatever it thinks I should have it?

Super thanks
