Does anyone know a good and, above all, free site to host images? I've been using photobucket until now but I don't really like their systems for uploading. Having one with FTP upload would be best. Does anyone know a good host like this?

I use Picasa and like it. Picasa has a upload tool, I think you can also upload from F-spot but I haven't tried yet. I don't know if it would work for you though because Google doesn't give a ftp address so you can't use a FTP program to upload the photos.

I see. Thanks for the reply but if possible I really would like to find one with ftp upload. It just makes things so much easier. :)

Has anyone else got any ideas?

use your interntet provider .. I'm sure they have web space allocated unless you are on a Fred Flintstone ISP.

And I use FireFTP within Firefox .. works great and has the old look and feel of WinFTP Pro!

Check to see if flickr has FTP upload.
I like flickr.com because they preserve your pic quality... all other sites compression mess it up... including Picasa...

It doesn't look like Flickr has FTP either.

Only blip.tv that I know of allows ftp. But it's for movies, not pictures: http://blip.tv/ftp
