Go into low graphics with envyng downloaded driver + how to install beryl?

I installed ubuntu 8.1 yesterday and i got envyng to download a video driver but when ever i install and reboot i get an error saying it could not initialize your nvidia device. After that problem is solved can anyone help me on how i go about installing beryl. thankyou

As for your driver, more information would be most helpful. First, what graphics card do you have? (Nvidia? ATI? Intel? What model?) Second, what do you mean be "low graphics" and Finally, where did you get this driver. (Hardware drivers under System in the menu? Your card manufacturer's site?)
