I don't have a Mac, but I'm using the mighty mouse and the Apple keyboard; both are wired. I'm also running Intrepid.

The keyboard works great, but I'm having trouble with the mouse.

The left click, right click, scroll ball (horiz/vert), and scroll click work. The squeeze seems messed up.

Ok. So. Its plugged in and sitting on the table, whenever I move it or touch it, the squeeze clicks like crazy and since I have it set on Compiz as a window picker button, everything is all over the place. My computer is now unusable.

I thought maybe it was a hardware problem, but I plugged it into my XP and it works fine (I'm using it now.)

How do I fix this? Is it Compiz? Is it Ubuntu? Is it an USB problem?

Did it ever work for you?
Maybe this can help you, even if it refers to Hardy

yes, I think the key is forcing it to use the evdev driver.

Thanks for your post, but sadly, it did not work for me and I lost horizontal scrolling.

I reverted the xorg, and I just disabled the squeeze in Compiz.
