Problems re-installing network manager

Hi,

I am using linux4one on aa150....I tried wicd but when I tried to go back to re-install network-manager-gnome, I got this

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?


Any advice much appreciated.

Check that you only have one package manager running at a time eg synaptic, apt-get, update manager...
