Updates "NOT AUTHENTICATED"

Hi, Everybody!

I just bought a Dell Inspiron 530 with 8.04 LTS installed. I launched the Update Manager, and it tells me I can install 1108 updates. I click "INSTALL", but it tells me many of them are "NOT AUTHENTICATED". Scary warning follows. What to do?

its okay.

is safe, its just that ubuntu overexagerates stuff

it means that you have some programs that where not provided by Ubuntu, but instead by third parties, meaning, in plain english, you have theird party apps installed
