Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410) has been re-branded as XMarks (http://lifehacker.com/5162599/foxmarks-becomes-xmarks-adds-search-and-suggestion-features).
Unlike Foxmarks, the XMarks add-on does not appear in the Mozilla Add-on website. You have to get it from the XMarks website.
Are there any other top-notch add-ons I might be missing because they are not on the official website?

XMarks will re-appear on the Mozilla site once they finish the rebranding.
And the same (roughly) applies for other add-ons. the cream of the crop can;t stay away from mozilla forever, and the few ones I would like to use are still in Alpha/Beta and I can wait till they hit Mozilla's site.

Excellent advice.
I should wait for Mozilla to give the thumbs-up to an extension before installing it.

I wouldn't necessarily say that, there are plenty of things that can easily fly under the radar, and I happen to be using XMarks because I heard about the rebranding, but I wouldn't bother scouring the internet for things. They're likely to come up on Mozilla's site or Stumble sooner than you'd find anything useful via google. (Unless you're looking for something for a specific purpose)
