I have just installed Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10 on my Samsung X11 laptop computer. I have installed the drivers of my video card nvidia geforce 7400, the recommended by my system (nvidia accelerated graphics driver - ver. 177).

When I surf the internet with Mozilla, the graphics look blured. That didn't happen with Windows Vista. It is weird because all the 3D effects are working properly and photos in the internet look good as well. The problem is with logos or advertisements in the internet.

Any clue?

ps. in the google png file, the 'google' and 'deutsch' words look blurred.

are you using a lower resolution that your computer can do?

Are you sure you haven't zoomed in the page? Try pressing Ctr-0 to reset the zoom level. (or View/Zoom/Reset).

Thanks, that was the problem, but I don't remember that happening in Vista when I zoomed a page.

You can select in Firefox if you want it to zoom text only or both text & images.

Just enable View/Zoom/Zoom Text Only from the menu.
