View Full Version : [ubuntu] Open office DicOOo Problem

Hi i have a problem im trying to get spell check for ym open office so i go to

file---> wizards --> install new dictionaries and then when dicOOo comes i go click on Start DicOOo and then come my problem

a window opens but its is very small and im not able to read anything really and im not able to make it bigger ???

Anybody has this problem ??

What version of OO are you using? THe way you're describing how to install the dictionary sounds really old.

The latest one is V.3.x.

You can easily install dictionaries using extensions you can download in a language of your choice.

That window was too small for me when I was playing with that. But my problem ended up being totally different. What I needed was the correct "myspell" package for the language I'm using. See if you have one/the right one for your language. Just search "myspell" in synaptic.
