Hi, I am trying to install Ubuntu inside Windows. The CD has all the checksums verified, it starts to create an image but when it gets to 99.9% is says the CD cannot be accessed. I did that 3 times. The CD verifies as OK. Is there a problem using SATA drives for the CD? I tried to do an installation from the Live CD but it trashed my Windows installation. I have 2 RAID 1 drives that Windows runs on and 1 non-RAID drive I want to install Ubuntu onto. It seems that the boot code that Ubuntu installs cannot handle having the boot sector on a RAID 1 drive. Thanks for any help.

3 times on a different disk? Sometimes if the disk is dirty or its a faulty CD burner, you can get that error and no, using SATA doesn't hurt anything.
