Never have i had so much trouble installing any linux, as i have had with this machine.
Specs are
AMD x64 4200 dual core
1 gig ram
60gig ide hd
nvidia 6100 vid chipset
ati pci theater 550 pro tuner
i originally thought i was burning too fast, so i set it to burn a 4x now i can run the live cd, but when it comes to installing, i keep getting error, something like errno 4 or 5? input/output error cant remember which one.can anyone help?
I have been with ubuntu since 6.10 and stayed with 7.10 due to 8.04 first instability. Now i would like to get into the htpc scene, but its kicking me down...
