View Full Version : [gnome] Help Noob try'd to update to latest Nvidia driver BSD (black screen of death)

Hi Guys
I have been trying for the last week on and off trying to see if i could resolve this using past post on the form to no avail.!:(
myu system is Msi 7220 MB , 3GB (Wont post with the 4 th stick) amd 64 2.4
2X Nvidia geforce 9600gt sli (and from what i read so far the sli i is the problem?)
Try BusID well i'll just post the files and see if anybody can spot the problem, by the way every thing works fine with live cd and the new install work flawlessly until i up dated the gpu drivers

I heard SLI just isn't supported yet, as you already stated yourself??;)

However it did work, until you did a driver-update?

Did you update into the closed-source nvidia drivers? If so maybe the nv driver worked then....so you can revert back to it or take out a graphics card....
I just use one card, so never really looked into it...

Did you already spot working solutions on the web?
