I have Lightscribe software installed, and I have a broken package in acroread. Apparently libstdc++5 is used in both packages. I'd like both packages, so how do I install these.
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/libstdc++5_1%3a3.3.6-17ubuntu1_amd64.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5.0.7', which is also in package lightscribe
Thanks,
NacIK

did you install them from medibuntu?
www.medibuntu.org
They provide more reliable packages for acroread for ubuntu, but I'm not sure about lightscribe.

I installed acroread from medibuntu. There is no Lightscribe package in medibuntu, so I had to install it from the lightscribe site.
I am running 64-bit and have to use --force parameters, which probably doesn't help.

Just an update - there's a new version of Lightscribe on their site and the problem appears to have been corrected.
