View Full Version : [ubuntu] capslock applet?

I just got a Dell mini two days ago with ubuntu on it. I'm loving this OS.. it sure makes the windows xp on my desktop seem very, very bloated! Once I get the hang of this Linux I plan to switch to that on that computer.

Anyway, my question here is... how can I tell on this mini that caplocks is enabled? There is no visual clue. I read that one guy uses a gnome capslock applet. What's that?

sudo apt-get install lock-keys-appletwill install an applet that will let you know the state of those keys and such. there are other packages, but I fount this one really quick.

I fount it by going to google and searching "ubuntu capslock applet"
