Where to get the drivers (modules) ?

Hi there !

I'm new with ubuntu, and installing my laptop with my different devices now.
From a negeral way, on windows, the drivers could be found on the microsoft web site, or the manufacturer web site (I used to always take the drivers from the manufacturer web site) ...

But I'm wondering how to get the drivers (called modules I think ?) on ubuntu ?
