Hi there

Can anybody tell me if there is a way of creating an NTFS partition on Ubuntu?

I'm looking at setting up a new server with Ubuntu on as a file server, which will be used in a Windows 2003 domain.

Cheers
Karl

Sure you can. Give a look at mkntfs man page ("man mkntfs" without quotes in a shell)

Thanks for that, I've now formatted the partition to NFTS using mkntfs.

All the best
