Trouble with Multiple Desktop

Hi, As soon as I had this problem I thought I should look for help on my favourite help site anyway:
On kubuntu I have this problem, when I move my mouse it switches desktop. it is really annoying. I tried to set it to only one desktop but it never worked.

Give a little bit more details. KDE has a nice feature of active borders, so when you move to a screen border it can switch desktops. Or is it when you move the mouse at all?

Check your configuration. There's a tool called evdev that you can check events sent by your mouse. Maybe it is configured badly that mouse move simulates wheel scrolling (which *can* switch desktop).
