I'm not trying to start a flamewar (really- please don't start a MS bashing party) but I found this important piece of information I have to share with my fellow computer friends.
Ever since I got my 3800 x2 working I have kept it a Linux box just because installing Windows is less fun than playing with a 64 bit OS for the first time (it IS faster). But today when I did research to see if I should get the 64 bit or 32 bit Windows, I ran across this article:

So watch out dual booters with dual cores- updating your Windows might cause problems. This convinced me that I will not put Windows on my new box for a long time.....it might not see a Windows OS until Vista comes (if then).
This link gives a (maybe dangerous so please don't blame me) hotfix for those this might effect. I hope this helps someone other than me (and not just to have a new thing to bash Windows for):

Seems like I finally have to get DVD Shrink running in my chroot...and no more CS Source....sigh.
