compiz . beyrl effect . what effect is this ?

Hello to all. I have ubuntu 8.10 running on my asus eeepc 1000h and it runs extremely nice. I have a question for you effects wiz's out there.... i have compiz running and am trying to figure out what effect this is its displayed in this youtube video from about 1-7 seconds in the beginning of this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD7QraljRfM. Thanks for your help.
