Just signed up and figured I'd say "hello." I've been using Ubuntu HH since August and am generally pleased with it - enough that I decided to quite lurking and register.
Our house has been Windows free for about 4 years now. I started with Mandrake 7.? and stuck with Mandrake until 10.2. I jumped over to Xandros OE 3.2 last summer when I built a new computer. Loved it. Went to switch my other machine over to Xandros and it choked on the hardware configuration. I then found Hoary Hedgehog and loaded it up. It did what Xandros couldn't...and here I am.
Overall I'm pleased. I have a few issues that I'm sorting through - but I'll post those in the appropriate forum. I've tried Red Hat, Fedora Core, and attempted Suse, but so far none have worked as well as Ubuntu.
So here I am. I look forward to hashing things over with everyone. Cheers.
