Any way to do a System Restore? I'm in 8.10.

I totally fubar'd my build. I got over rambunctious with trying to get Compiz running and then realized my little laptop sucks for that. So I went to undo what I thought I did, and now everything is screwed up. :(

Thank goodness this is FREE!!

no auto restore sorry, but you can undo the compiz settings.... press ALt+F2type
metacity --replace that will turn off compiz completely.

any other issues let us know

Yeah, I think it's worse than just "compiz" not working.

The title bars of everything I open dock up and under the top of the screen so that I can't even click and drag the windows around. And now I only have 1 desktop available, and the Alt+F2 doesn't work at all.

With any window open I can't even click on my top 'taskbar' in order to access anything.

Yeaaaaaa, I'm going to have to reinstall ubuntu. :(
