Automation of VMWare Install

All,

Would like to propose an effort to put together installer for VMWare (Server, Player, etc.) with either bash or Perl installer, that will check which OS (and OS version) is installing and make appropriate finds of VMWare source to correctly install for requested version.

Not sure if this is right place for this suggestion, but could not find another place I thought better.

Went to lauchpad and see nothing on howto submit a project. If it is there they sure hid it well.
