Can't install

Thank you for your help in advance.

I have downloaded ubuntu 8.10 as iso file and burn it with Brazero Disk Burner. Checkum shows correct. But I am trying to install ubuntu in other computer it start but shows error. I have AMD dual core 1G RAM 250G SATA,
Chipset NIVIDIA GeForce 7050PV/GeForce7025.

your kind help would b appreciated.

What is the error message?

At the initial screen, after booting from the CD, run the check cd for defects to make sure everything on the CD is good first.
