I'm using an AMD motherboard (friend told me AMD and linux are not best friends..)

The problem probably relies on raid controllers that are within the motherboard..
The cd-rom I use is IDE.. it is a slave to the first hard drive.
Next, I'm using the CD's that were shipped to me.
64-bit edition.. server and desktop edition. Tried them both.

I can start the set-up.. but then it asks me to mount the CD-ROM..
Why should I need to mount it if it's already using the CD-ROM?
I tried to mount it before.. but no luck.
