That depends entirely on what you want it for. If I was buying a netbook for myself, I would not buy that model -- I want an SSD drive instead of a hard drive and Linux instead of Windows :)

Otherwise it looks good, though. Especially the 6-cell battery is good for longer battery life.

Looks good.

I can't recommend anything without using it but the Aspire One series seems to get positive reviews.

you surely don't want to buy any electronics because it is all factored in China, and in China workers don't have any rights!

Good luck, whatever you don't do Do not update the Kernel on either Intrepid or Hardy on there. Intrepid breaks ethernet and Hardy kernel panics. Ubuntu is not a good choice on there IMO. In fact I've not had one distro which has worked great on that hardware.
