sound problems

Hello,

I'm opening pages in youtube on firefox on windows and in ubuntu 8.10 but the audio is barely audible

Just gotta check, but the volume is all the way up, both on the speakers and in the OS. Also might want to check the connections on the speakers, sometimes a loose connection can give you low sound.

After months of problems I eventually got it sorted. I changed so many things I'm not sure what sorted it. The last thing I tried was PulseAudio Chooser under Sound and Video.
