EDIT:
Alright.. well - I feel stupid now; apperently my updates were turned off... for an odd reason - therefore I just had to click them on. My post is now pointless... sorry for your time.
I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon). And I installed it once - but was "updated" to the new one; this caused the OS to malfunction and fail to connect me to the internet (I've herd this is a problem with 8.10). Anyways - I reinstalled 7.10, but now when I try and play music/vids it asks me to install the GStreamer plugins (when I first installed 7.10 I did this and it accepted fine). How ever, now every time I try and select them to Download it gives me two messages:
1. "Confirm Instalation of restricted software" blah. blah. blah.. I click "confirm"
2. "The list of applications is not Available: Reload or cancel"
I've tried to reload it - but it still returns with the same two screens.
Any help?
