Great, but it didn't seem like most of that would help them.

Ditto. Comment left about how the copies of StarOffice I've used have email capabilities.....

Done, and commented. I asked them to please never think about copying the nightmarish GUI of MS Office 07.
Seriously, I can't f***ing stand it. I like my old school drop down menus.

Same here, and I have to say I'm generally satisfied with OOo 3.X

Done and a big +1 on Office '07. I had the great displeasure of taking a course on Office '07. I'll take OpenOffice any day over Office '07. ;)

Thanks for pointing out the survey, I've used OO 3.0.1 for a few months and really like it and enjoy using it. BUT, when I send a doc file to Windows users at HQ and it has wiped out all the tables, one has to think twice about using it as a viable alternative. Unless OO can make a doc file that can be shared it's just not going to work. Sadly I had to say I was not satisfied.

I did it too.
Commented that I liked the simple toolbars vs. Windows' Ribbon or Mac's Sidebar. I did tell them too that I liked how Lotus Symphony had integrated tabs into the program and that I hoped they might do somethin similar later on down the road.

Same, I can't comment on OOo 3 though because it and kde 4.2 are not compatible

Thank you everybody for your interest in the survey.
OOo is a key piece in making free software a viable option for many people.
